Jacob Harris

Senior Minister

Hello there and welcome! My name is Jacob, and I am the senior minister. My wife Savannah and I are both from Illinois, and we just moved back here in the Spring of 2024 from Indiana. I preached my very first sermon right after I turned 18, and attended Summit Theological Seminary soon after with the desire to do full time ministry. We have 2 boys both under 5, so our house is constantly moving and shaking. The Lord has blessed us beyond belief with our family, both at home and the church! It is an honor serving the Lord’s Kingdom in Manteno. We encourage you to come on over and check us out, here at The Christian Church of Manteno!

Jessie Vales

Worship Team Leader

I’m Jessie Vales, the worship team leader here at CCM. I joined the CCM team in 2018 as the piano player. I grew up in the area and met my husband here. We have 2 daughters that are 10 years apart in age. I attended Eastern Illinois University and earned my bachelor’s degree in music education. I currently teach music and band at Kankakee Trinity Academy. When I’m not doing things for work or the church, I like spending my time reading, drawing, and making and eating food.

Kristin Banks

Church Secretary

Hi, I’m Kristin Banks.

I was born and raised in Kansas, which is where I went to Washburn University to get my bachelor’s degree in psychology and French. Then, I married my husband, Adam, and we moved to Illinois in 2004, so that I could get my Master's of Science in Child Development at the Erikson Institute in Chicago. We have 4 children, three girls and one boy, spanning the ages of toddlerhood to teenage years, so they keep us busy! When I’m not running kids around, working, or leading moms' groups, I love to read! We have called the Christian Church of Manteno our home church since 2011.

Creighton Beatty

Senior Minister - Retired - March 2024

Hi, I am Creighton Beatty the minister. My wife Debbie and I moved from North Carolina to Manteno November 2018. It was a leap of faith and God blessed. We have seven grandkids we adore, three in Washington State and four in Indiana. It's a joy to be near family. When we're not visiting grandkids, we maybe sipping coffee somewhere or riding a bicycle in the countryside. Our church family also means the world to us. It's a pleasure to server Christ with a people who love Jesus and want to see the kingdom grow.
