Bob Grove, Senior Minister

Bob came to CCM in August of 2000.  In his 30 years of ministry experience, he has served churches in Missouri, Ohio, and Indiana, doing everything from youth work to administration to worship.

Bob holds a BTh degree from Ozark Christian College (Joplin, Missouri) and three from Cincinnati Christian University — MAPM, MMin, MDiv.

His wife of 29 years, Kathy, is the preschool teacher at Kankakee Trinity Academy.  They have three daughters, two of which are students at Ozark Christian College, Bob & Kathy’s alma mater.  Their oldest daughter is recently married.

Bob enjoys gardening and sports.  He has authored several articles for Christian periodicals.

Jeremiah Byers, Family & Children Minister

Jeremiah joined the CCM leadership team in June of 2008.  He is a 2004 graduate of MacMurray College, from which he received a physical education degree.  But feeling God’s call to ministry led him to Lincoln Christian University, where he completed his MDiv degree in 2009.

His wife of 6 years, Ashley, is certified in deaf education, and currently serving her family as a homemaking mom.  They were blessed with the birth of a son in August of 2008.

Jeremiah serves CCM in the areas of family and children.   He enjoys sports, having played and coached college football.  He’s game for anything that has the word “game” in it, including Airsoft, paintball, and Wii.

Phil Orsi, Worship Director

Phil joined the staff as part-time Worship Director in spring of 2006.  His music education comes from years of playing and gigging.

He is happily married to Sally.  Together they have three children.  Phil runs a private cleaning business, and Sally is busy tending kids and serving as a personal assistant.

Phil enjoys people, games of all sorts, sports, and selling things on eBay.
